Bob Marshall Wilderness

The 1.5 million acre Bob Marshall Wilderness is considered by many to be the crown jewel of America’s wilderness system. It contains the valleys, lakes and streams that make up the headwaters of several rivers including the South Fork of the Flathead River. Elevations vary from 4000’ to 9000’.

Adventure Pack Trips

We offer progressive pack trips through this mountainous area that vary in length from 5 to 10 days. You ride horseback and all camp gear is packed on mules. We generally move camp every other day and lay over on the days in between to ride, fish, explore, relax, and enjoy camp life.

You will stay in teepee tents with covered floors and screened doors. Hearty meals are prepared and served under the kitchen fly. We offer “open” trips that anyone can join, up to 10 people. Or with a group of 8 or more you can book your own private trip.

Fisher's Paradise

Enjoy world-class fishing for native cutthroat on the South Fork Flathead River and it’s tributaries! Alpine lakes, glacial streams, and the main rivers offer a wide opportunity for novice and expert alike. With an abundance of trout lying in wait in the cold, clear waters, it is truly a fly fisherman’s paradise.

Testimonial

“Thank you for a great pack trip. That was the 5th trip I have been on and each one is better than the last. Eric had a great time. All your crew is awesome. Thanks again.”

“Thank you for my awesome, memory filled adventure in September. So many wonderful memories, so much quiet beauty as we rode. The last day’s return ride and visit to Pyramid Lake are scenes in my mind that I will never forget.”
